3M Appoints Bryan Hanson as CEO of Health Care Business Group

ST. PAUL, Minn., Aug. 22, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - 3M (NYSE: MMM) announced today the appointment of Bryan C. Hanson as the Chief Executive Officer of the independent health care company set to be spun off from 3M. Hanson will take over as CEO of the Health Care Business Group starting Sept. 1. Known for his leadership at Zimmer Biomet, where he served as President and CEO since 2017, and Chairman since 2021, Hanson brings significant expertise in the field of medical technology innovation.

In addition, 3M announced that Carrie Cox, a health care industry veteran, will serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the new independent Health Care company.
