Blake Alma Leaves CoinHub Media to Pursue Christian Education at Pensacola Christian College

PENSACOLA, Fla., September 16, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – Blake Alma, the 23-year-old founder of CoinHub Media, has decided to step away from the company to continue his education at Pensacola Christian College (PCC). Alma, who built CoinHub into a successful platform with over $3.2 million in sales and nearly 2 million social media followers, is shifting his focus to pursue a degree in interdisciplinary studies, with a focus on marketing and political science.
CoinHub Media has established a strong presence in the numismatic community under Alma’s leadership. The company is recognized for its influence in coin collecting and has produced several books, including The CoinHub: An Ultimate Guide to Coin Errors. Despite his success, Alma made the decision in January 2024 to prioritize his Christian education.
Alma shared the news of his departure on CoinHub's Instagram, stating, "As many of you know, I embarked on a new chapter this past spring to attend Pensacola Christian College. This journey has taken me away from my main office in Ohio, but not away from the unwavering passion of the numismatic community."
During his absence, Ben Hutton, a marketing student from Cedarville University, has been appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of CoinHub. Hutton, along with a six-member team, will manage the business operations in Alma’s absence.
Alma’s decision to leave the company was driven by his desire for personal and spiritual growth. In a farewell address shared before his departure, he explained, "I have always had mixed feelings about this moment of saying goodbye. I am very grateful for CoinHub, but this did not make me happy. Life isn’t about coins, metals, and money. Do not spend your life teaching people how to be rich, but educate them on how to serve God, for that is the only true happiness."
Alma plans to continue his studies at PCC for the 2024-2025 academic year and has received support from his community of followers.
