Bumble Inc. Debuts 'Bumble For Friends', A Dedicated App for Friendship Formation
AUSTIN, Texas, (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Today, Bumble Inc., the parent company of Bumble, Badoo, Fruitz, and Official, unveiled a new standalone app, 'Bumble For Friends', designed specifically for fostering friendships. The app facilitates the discovery of meaningful, kind, and enjoyable local connections separate from the Bumble dating platform.

The innovative platform extends the successful BFF mode, available within the Bumble app since 2016, which offers three different modes: Date for romantic relationships, BFF for platonic friendships, and Bizz for business connections.

'Bumble For Friends' works by creating a user profile that captures the member’s personality and interests. Similar to Bumble Date, members can view profiles of potential friends based on shared interests, swipe right to express interest, and receive a notification when a match is made. Existing Bumble app users who wish to migrate their profile and connections to the new app can do so easily.
A unique feature of the 'Bumble For Friends' app is the planning tool for group meetups. Members can create a plan for a group meetup, select a planned activity or create their own, and invite at least two matches. The invitees receive an invite in their chat that bears the name of the planned activity, which can be edited. All those who accept the invite can join the group chat and commence discussing meetup details.
'Bumble For Friends' is free to use and is available for download on the App Store and Google Play in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with plans to expand to more regions.
