MILWAUKEE, June 27, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Continental Properties Company, Inc. has successfully closed its seventh commingled real estate fund, Continental Properties Real Estate Income Fund V, L.P. The fund, which had a final closing on December 31, 2022, raised approximately $130.5 million in capital. This capital has been utilized to invest in six suburban apartment communities across six states, all developed and managed by Continental Properties. The total value of these properties is estimated at $389 million.

"The Income Fund series of funds was created to give investors exposure to a newly developed, geographically diverse portfolio of multifamily communities and to generate attractive and consistent cash flow along with the opportunity for long-term capital appreciation and tax-efficient risk-adjusted returns," said Jim Schloemer, Co-Founder and CEO of Continental Properties. He further emphasized the unique aspect of the Income Fund V, stating, "Unlike many other funds in the market, investors' capital in our Income Fund V was deployed immediately upon closing, and investors knew exactly how and where their capital would be invested."

Dan Minahan, President of Continental Properties, expressed his excitement about the closing of the fund, highlighting the company's commitment to its suburban multifamily strategy and disciplined approach. He acknowledged the significance of closing a privately offered real estate fund under current market conditions and thanked the investors for their confidence in Continental Properties.
