PALO ALTO, Calif., February 22, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Dazz, a cybersecurity company specializing in security remediation technologies, has announced Jared Phipps as its new Chief Revenue Officer in a recent press release. This appointment comes as Dazz reports a significant increase in revenue, with a fourfold growth in the last quarter of the fiscal year 2024 compared to the previous year.

Phipps, who has over two decades of experience in the cybersecurity industry, joins Dazz after a notable tenure at SentinelOne, where as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Solution Engineering, he was instrumental in growing the company’s annual recurring revenue (ARR) from $10 million to over $650 million in six years. His career also includes leadership roles at Fidelis Cybersecurity and as a senior information security engineer at MITRE, alongside his service in the U.S. Air Force, where he contributed to the nation's cyber defense and offense strategies.

Reflecting on his new position, Phipps stated, "It's not a conventional decision to shift from a publicly traded company to an early-stage startup, but it was a no-brainer when I came to know the team at Dazz. Dazz is tackling a fundamental industry challenge – while there is never a shortage of detection tools pointing out issues through security alerts, Dazz is the only company that provides unified visibility and remediation across all types of security issues and technology infrastructures. There's a tremendous opportunity to help customers meaningfully improve their remediation operations, particularly in light of the SEC disclosures rule, allowing them to be more cost-efficient and focus on innovation.”

Dazz's recent unveiling of its Unified Remediation Platform marks a significant milestone for the company, providing chief information security officers (CISOs) with a comprehensive view across code, clouds, applications, infrastructure, and detection tools. This platform is designed to enable rapid identification of security issues, prioritization, and streamlined fixes, reducing the time to remediate risks from weeks to hours.

Merav Bahat, Co-Founder and CEO of Dazz, expressed confidence in Phipps's ability to contribute to the company's growth, stating, "We founded Dazz with the mission of addressing the critical need for remediation in cybersecurity, and we consistently seek out top talent to propel this vision forward. We finished our fiscal year 2024 with record growth in customers, revenue, and pipeline. Jared’s extensive experience in cybersecurity and public companies will be pivotal in our next phase of hypergrowth."

Dazz's growth is supported by investments from leading venture capital firms and is expanding its presence in North America, Europe, and the Middle East to support a growing enterprise customer base, including 20% of Fortune 1000 companies.
