DALLAS, August 3, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Technology solutions provider Digi Point Media, known for its work in Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising, has launched the Icebox Network. This new network comprises screens installed on ice merchandisers within retail outlets such as grocery, convenience, liquor, and home improvement stores, aiming to provide innovative advertising and promotional opportunities at the point-of-purchase.

Digi Point's CEO, Paul Calce, commented on the new initiative, stating, "The launch of the Icebox Network represents a notable development in our efforts to bring about significant changes in the retail advertising industry. With our unique blend of advertising and technology solutions, we aim to extend our reach to major retailers in key markets and alter the way customers engage with brands."

The Icebox Network is designed to bring about a transformation in the retail advertising landscape by offering brands unique access to customers across the nation at key moments during their in-store shopping journey. The advertising network, which will feature screens on ice merchandisers capable of playing video or static content, is being positioned as a new way to deliver targeted messages to consumers. Calce added, "The placement of these screens near store entrances, cash registers, or select merchandise presents an opportunity to supplement a brand's message at a critical moment."

The first phase of the Icebox Network was initiated on July 1 in the Texas markets, including Dallas/Fort Worth, Waco, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso. The next phase will include further expansion within Texas, followed by its introduction into markets across the country. Digi Point Media has stated that its advertising practices are in compliance with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code and TABC Administrative Rules, which allows it to host advertisements from breweries, distilleries, wholesalers, and distributors.
