Discovery Senior Living Launches LakeHouse Senior Living to Extend Presence in the Great Lakes Region
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla., August 11, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Discovery Senior Living ("Discovery") has unveiled its newest regional management company, LakeHouse Senior Living ("LakeHouse"), in a move that expands its reach in the Midwest, particularly surrounding the Great Lakes. This launch is part of Discovery's strategic shift towards a more localized management structure for its national and regional brands of senior living communities.
LakeHouse Senior Living aims to cater to the unique needs and preferences of seniors in northern Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The new company is not only set to begin management of several new communities but will also assimilate an existing portfolio of communities currently operated by Discovery in the region.
LakeHouse, a subsidiary of Discovery Senior Living, will function as a local management company with its management team. It will leverage support services from the Discovery Operational Support Center situated at Discovery's Florida headquarters.
A significant addition to the executive leadership team, Brad Poterack has been named Chief Operating Officer of LakeHouse. Poterack brings over 25 years of experience as a solutions-oriented leader with a track record of success across two dynamic industries. He formerly held a senior management role at Macy's and recently served as Senior Vice President, Operations for Enlivant, a company that operates assisted living communities.
