Haymarket Media CEO Lee Maniscalco to Transition into New Role in 2025
NEW YORK, Nov. 4, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – Haymarket Media, Inc. has announced that CEO Lee Maniscalco will step down by June 2025, transitioning into a role as a corporate non-executive Board member and strategic advisor. The company has retained an executive search firm to find his replacement.
Maniscalco, who joined Haymarket in 2001, has overseen the company's growth from $15 million to $130 million in annual revenue, with staff expanding from 30 to 430 employees. Under his leadership, Haymarket launched several initiatives, including Haymarket Medical Education and myCME, and expanded its digital presence with the Advisor family of websites. “It has been a privilege and an honor to have an opportunity to lead this company, and I am grateful to all of you for helping to make Haymarket Media what it is today. Together we have built a dynamic, ambitious and highly successful business with a welcoming, energizing culture that values imaginative thinking and collaborative work”, Maniscalco stated in an internal message to employees.

Haymarket has achieved some notable milestones since its inception including the creation of the Haymarket Medical Network, now reaching over 2 million healthcare professionals, and the integration of brands like McKnight’s and MM+M. Reflecting on the company’s digital progress, he noted, “We have embraced the digital revolution and built a robust, web-savvy, multi-platform technological capability...Along the way, we’ve consistently won national awards for editorial and design excellence.”

Maniscalco previously held executive positions with Thomson Medical Economics before joining Haymarket. He will remain in his current role until the transition is completed in June 2025.
