Iron Palm Tattoos Sets New Guinness World Record with Monumental Synthetic Skin Tattoo Tribute to Late Rapper Takeoff

ATLANTA, July 19, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Iron Palm Tattoos & Body Piercing, in collaboration with Atlanta Ink, have broken the Guinness World Record for the largest synthetic skin tattoo, in a unique homage to the late rapper Takeoff. The Grammy-winning musician, whose real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, was a member of the internationally acclaimed music trio Migos. The record-breaking tribute, created by Iron Palm's senior artist JR Outlaw, highlights the studio's boundary-pushing prowess in the field of tattoo artistry.

The ambitious project was conceived in a conversation between Iron Palm owner Marlon Blake and Atlanta Ink owner Christian Verrette. The idea: a record-breaking tattoo on homemade synthetic skin, normally utilized for practice. The duo turned to 3D-printing silicone company Mr4gx, owned by Justin Thomas, to develop the synthetic canvas. After months of rigorous research and development, costing over $30,000 in silicone materials, the 7.395 m² (7' X 12') tattoo canvas was perfected. Outlaw then meticulously designed, stenciled, and tattooed the memorial image, a process which spanned several months. Upon completion, Guinness World Record adjudicator Michael Empric verified the unprecedented feat.

Outlaw, when asked about his choice of subject for the massive artwork, said, "I just want people to reflect on him as a person and his legacy in music and in the city." Plans are now underway to exhibit the artwork in a renowned museum or gallery, with a portion of any sale proceeds pledged to the Donate Your Junk electronics campaign.
