Japanese Gamblers Show Interest in American Horse Racing, Reveals Public Gambling Guide Survey

NAGOYA, Japan, July 23, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - A recent online survey conducted by Public Gambling Guide(https://practicefoundry.com/), a service of Site Creation Co., Ltd., has shed light on the familiarity and interest level of Japanese gambling enthusiasts in American horse racing. This questionnaire targeted 150 Japanese bettors and comprised eight inquiries, ranging from the awareness of American horse racecourses and races to comparing interest levels in American and Japanese horse racing.

The results revealed that a majority (62%) of the participants were unaware of American horse racing, and 95.3% never placed a bet on it. Despite this, approximately a third (32.7%) found American horse racing more interesting than its Japanese counterpart. When asked about specific American races, 27% knew about the Kentucky Derby, while over a third (36.3%) were not familiar with any. The survey also showed that 26.7% of the respondents expressed an interest in trying American horse racing.
