CHICAGO, March 5, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Newly launched platform KolleXor.com enters the collectibles market with a valuation of $3.5 million, founded by Tom Warman, Matt McClintock, and Michael Leaveck. According to a company press release, the platform is designed to innovate the traditional collecting experience, initially focusing on sports memorabilia with plans for rapid expansion into other sectors.

KolleXor.com offers a free online space for collectors to display, trade, and connect over their collectibles. "The response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive,” Warman stated. “It’s clear we’ve tapped into a real need for a more connected and interactive collecting experience.”

The platform is community-focused, aiming to remove barriers within the collecting community. McClintock emphasized, “Our goal was to break down the barriers within the collecting community, making it easier for anyone to share their passion, regardless of the size or value of their collection.”

The involvement of Dmitri Young, a former MLB player and collector, with KolleXor.com highlights the platform's appeal to serious collectors. Young's participation brings a notable collection to the platform, including a 1951 Willie Mays Bowman ISA 9 baseball card. Leaveck noted, “Dmitri’s involvement showcases the level of trust and excitement around what we’re building with KolleXor.com.”

KolleXor.com plans to expand its focus to include entertainment memorabilia, with partnerships in the final stages of negotiation to introduce this new category. “Expanding into entertainment memorabilia not only grows our community but also enriches the collecting landscape with new categories and opportunities,” Warman added.
