In this new role, Sawai will oversee all marketing activities, focusing on developing strategic initiatives tailored to U.S. and Canadian consumers, enhancing the brand's reach, and reinforcing Liberty Tax franchise owners as trusted tax experts.

Sawai's background includes extensive experience in the advertising industry, having worked with brands such as The Home Depot, Pulte Group, Metro by T-Mobile, Chick-fil-A, Farm Bureau Financial Services, and Travelocity. With over 27 years of marketing experience, Sawai has a proven track record of creating customer-focused and digitally centric strategies. Prior to his promotion, he served as the Senior Vice President of Digital Marketing at Liberty Tax, where he developed new brand positioning and strategy, implemented persona-based audience insights, redesigned the company's U.S. and Canadian websites, and launched a platform for franchisees to create brand-approved campaigns and marketing materials.
