MC Companies' Lyn Marquis Joins Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's National Volunteer Leadership Council

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., February 8, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Real estate investment company, MC Companies, has announced that Lyn Marquis, their Director of Philanthropy, has been selected to join the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s National Volunteer Leadership Council for the Class of 2024. Marquis, nominated by the Foundation’s Arizona – Phoenix Chapter and recognized by the national Board of Trustees, is celebrated for her significant contributions to improving the lives of those affected by Cystic Fibrosis (CF).

According to a recent press release, Marquis is set to be formally recognized for her dedication to the CF community at the upcoming Volunteer Leadership Conference (VLC) in Washington, D.C., from March 13-16, 2024. This event will also offer her the opportunity to participate in March on the Hill, the Foundation’s annual advocacy training and lobbying effort, scheduled for March 13th and 14th.

In addition to her recognition, Marquis has been invited to contribute to one of the Foundation’s 10 Council Committees, where her skills and dedication will be leveraged on a national scale. These committees play a crucial role in enhancing the Foundation's efforts, developing new fundraising strategies, and facilitating idea exchanges among volunteers. The committees focus on various areas, including Advocacy, Corporate Engagement, "Grampions" (grandparents or grandpersons), Individual Giving, Outreach, Passion Fundraising, Peer-to-Peer, Special Events, Tomorrow’s Leaders, and Volunteer Engagement.

Marquis's philanthropic work extends beyond her new role with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
