Medtech Veteran Jeroen Nieuwenhuis Takes the Helm as CEO of Diagnostic Startup Nostics

AMSTERDAM, September 19, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Nostics, a startup specializing in medical diagnostics, has announced the appointment of Jeroen Nieuwenhuis as its new Chief Executive Officer. Nieuwenhuis, a seasoned entrepreneur in the medtech field, joins Nostics as it gears up to launch its innovative diagnostics technology for point-of-care settings.

Nostics is founded on a diagnostic platform that combines Raman spectroscopy, nanotechnology, and AI-based classification. The company is focused on delivering rapid diagnostics for infectious diseases, specifically targeting bacterial infections. With over 15 years of experience in in-vitro diagnostics, his particular expertise in point-of-care diagnostics is highly valued. Nieuwenhuis has held a variety of roles from R&D to strategy and business development. He led the spinout of Minicare technology from Philips, a platform that quickly diagnoses heart attacks in point-of-care settings. The technology was eventually acquired by Siemens Healthineers.
