CHICAGO, August 29, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Luci Creative, a woman-owned museum design firm, has unveiled its extensive renovation of the National Music Museum, marking the completion of a three-year collaboration. The museum, located on the University of South Dakota campus, opened its first floor featuring seven new galleries on Saturday, August 26, with the second floor set to open at a later date. The redesign covers over 15,000 square feet of exhibition space and employs a range of innovative storytelling techniques, including creative artifact displays, interactive sound elements, and captivating graphics.

AJ Goehle, CEO and Principal of Luci Creative, stated, "We believe the new galleries will move visitors to appreciate the amazing collection of instruments and the intimate stories each artifact has to tell." Michael Suing, National Music Museum Deputy Director of Collections, added, "Luci Creative really listened to what was important to us and our stakeholders and reflected those stories in the new galleries."

The redesign emphasizes themes of human creativity, culture, and connection to music. Luci Creative partnered with a team of experts including Ravenswood Studio, Inc., Northern Light Productions, Electrosonic, Gravity Exhibitions, and Luxam for the execution of the project.
