NBAF Gala to Bestow Trailblazer in the Arts Award to Renowned Film Producer Will Packer

ATLANTA, August 1, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - The National Black Arts Festival (NBAF) is set to honor Hollywood producer, Will Packer, with the Trailblazer in the Arts award during its annual fundraising gala. The event will take place on Saturday, October 7, from 6-8 p.m. at the Southern Exchange Ballroom in Downtown Atlanta. Packer, who has had significant influence in the film industry and is noted for his work that amplifies Black culture and actors, will be the star honoree of the night.

Adding glamour to the event, the gala dinner will be curated by celebrity chef and multiple James Beard Foundation award winner, Marcus Samuelsson. Samuelsson is widely recognized for his work across various high-profile restaurants and his contributions to television.

The NBAF Gala, which celebrates 35 years of exceptional arts programming, is themed "Mahogany" this year, promising an evening of vintage glamour. The event will also recognize the NBAF Horizon Emerging Artist Award winner.
