Ryder Names John J. Diez as Chief Operating Officer and Cristina Gallo-Aquino as Chief Financial Officer

MIAMI, December 16, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – Logistics and transportation company Ryder System, Inc. has announced the appointment of John J. Diez as president and chief operating officer (COO), effective January 1, 2025. Cristina Gallo-Aquino will succeed Diez as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), overseeing the company’s financial management functions.
In his new role, Diez will report to Ryder Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert E. Sanchez and will be responsible for managing the operations of Ryder’s three business segments. Diez, who has been with Ryder for 22 years, previously served as CFO since May 2021. His experience also includes leading the company’s Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) business and the Dedicated Transportation Solutions (DTS) unit.

Gallo-Aquino, who has been promoted from her role as senior vice president, controller, and principal accounting officer, will now oversee finance, accounting, treasury, tax, audit, and investor relations. Gallo-Aquino has been with Ryder since 2004 and has held leadership positions, including vice president and CFO of the FMS business unit and vice president and corporate controller.
