Prior to joining Sandline Global, Whitaker served as the APAC Managing Director at a global e-discovery and forensics firm. With 15 years of experience living in China and holding sales and leadership positions in software and services companies, Whitaker has earned the trust and respect of customers, colleagues, and partners through his willingness to share best practices and his transparent approach regarding capabilities and limitations.

Based in Beijing, Whitaker previously resided in Shanghai, where he actively contributed to the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (AmCham Shanghai) in various volunteer leadership roles. He chaired the IT Committee and served as a "D.C. Doorknock" Delegate, engaging with members of Congress and the US Presidential Administration to exchange viewpoints on the challenges faced by American businesses in China.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Whitaker has held volunteer leadership positions with organizations such as the USA Girl Scouts Overseas and the Boy Scouts of America.
