SANTA MARIA, Calif., August 28, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Santa Maria Valley is looking to entice travelers to take a midweek break from the daily grind by offering a $100 Visa gift card. Building on the success of its earlier Stimulus campaign, the Central Coast tourist destination aims to boost local businesses while giving people an opportunity to relax and recharge. The first 500 visitors who book a two-night stay at a qualifying lodging property between Sunday and Thursday are eligible for the incentive. To qualify, the trip must be booked between October 15, 2023, and January 31, 2024, and reservations must be made by September 30, 2023.

"In Santa Maria Valley, $100 goes further than it would in other wine destinations," said Jennifer Harrison, director of tourism for Visit Santa Maria Valley. The initiative aims to support local businesses during the midweek lull, especially as the majority of Americans are seeking budget-friendly vacation options. Harrison added, "With the price hikes we've seen taking place in different areas of the travel industry, Santa Maria Valley remains a true value for visitors and whether you're traveling with friends, family, or flying solo—the break people need is right here."
