Sweetgreen Nominates Monty Moran and Dawn Ostroff to Board of Directors

LOS ANGELES, March 28, 2025 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Restaurant company Sweetgreen has announced the nominations of Monty Moran and Dawn Ostroff to its Board of Directors. The nominations will be considered at the company’s 2025 annual meeting of stockholders.

Moran previously served as co-CEO of Chipotle Mexican Grill, where he oversaw the company's growth from a regional chain to a national brand. He also served as CEO of the Denver-based law firm Messner and Reeves, LLC, and is currently active as an entrepreneur, author, speaker, and filmmaker.

Ostroff is the former Chief Content and Advertising Business Officer at Spotify. She has also held executive roles at Condé Nast, The CW, Lifetime, and UPN. Ostroff has served on the boards of Activision Blizzard and Westfield Corporation.

The company also announced that Youngme Moon and Valerie Jarrett will not stand for re-election. Moon and Jarrett both contributed to board committees including Nominating, Environmental, Social and Governance (NESG), and Compensation.
