TTX Company Appoints Marty Thomas as Executive Vice President
CHARLOTTE, N.C., November 5, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – Railcar pooling company TTX Company has announced the appointment of Marty Thomas as Executive Vice President, effective November 4, 2024. Thomas joins TTX with over 27 years of experience in the freight rail industry, previously serving as group vice president at Wabtec.
In his role at Wabtec, Thomas managed operations including locomotive engine manufacturing, aftermarket remanufacturing, distribution, and supply chain across 25 sites and over 2,400 employees. Before his tenure at Wabtec, he spent 22 years with GE Transportation, where he held roles overseeing enterprise quality and product reliability and served as a service contract executive for UPRR and BNSF. Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in technology from Montana State University – Northern, an MBA from Frostburg State University, and is certified as a GE Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
