Victoria P. Roberts Takes Charge of Grande River Vineyards Sales, Foresees Skyrocketing Growth in Colorado's Front Range

PALISADE, Colo., August 22, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - In a significant move to expand their brand in Colorado's Front Range, Grande River Vineyards has announced that experienced sommelier and Sales Manager, Victoria P. Roberts, will spearhead the wholesale sales efforts. Owner Richard Tally, of parent company Ten Acre Winery LLC, expressed confidence in Roberts' ability to grow the brand, citing her prior experience as the owner of a successful luxury real estate brokerage firm and her profound knowledge of wine and food.

Tally, who purchased the historic Grande River Vineyards (GRV) in June 2021 along with his wife Jean and daughter Anne, recognizes the need for consumers to have increased accessibility to their wines. He stated, "Consumers need more accessibility to our wines, and Victoria is the right person to get the job done."

Roberts' tenure as Sales Manager has already brought "dramatic improvements" in front range wine sales, according to Tally. She has successfully collaborated with Republic National Distributing Co., which represents TAW/GRV, and has managed to place Grande River's labels on the shelves of big-box stores like Applejacks and Total Wine. Additionally, Roberts has secured a deal to include five GRV varietals in a major promotion by Colorado's largest grocery store chain.

Roberts brings a strong educational background, including a BA degree from Yale and an MBA in Business Administration, along with a WSET-London Level 3 Wine Expert rating and an International Wine & Spirits Guild Executive Wine Sommelier certification. Her passion for wine is reflected in her belief that GRV wines echo the subtlety of Old World wines, crediting winemaker Rainer Thoma's European training and over 30 years of experience.

On her appointment and the potential for Grande River Vineyards, Roberts enthusiastically remarked, "There is so much potential for growth and building our brand. I see good things on the horizon for Grande River Vineyards. The sky's the limit."

The Tally family, owners of the adjacent Victorian-style boutique hotel Colorado Wine Country Inn, has created a unique Wine Estate destination for guests and sees this as a new beginning for Grande River Vineyards, which was the fifth winery to be licensed by the state.
