TAMPA, Fla., August 19, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Winters & Yonker Personal Injury Lawyers has announced the offering of its annual $1,000 scholarship aimed at supporting a Florida student pursuing higher education. The scholarship is intended to ease the financial burden of tuition, housing, books, and related expenses, with the funds sent directly to the registrar’s office of the recipient’s chosen college or university.

This scholarship is open to Florida students enrolled in or committed to attending a U.S. college, university, graduate school, or law school in the current calendar year. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Immediate family members of current Winters & Yonker employees are not eligible.

To apply, students are required to submit an official transcript, a letter of recommendation, and a 750- to 2,500-word essay on the topic: "What traits do you have that will enhance your education and future employment?" The application deadline is December 31, 2024, and the winner will be announced on February 1, 2025.
