Yasmeen Fletcher, Cooper Roth, and Todd Terry Join the Cast of Indie Drama ‘American Spirit’

Yasmeen Fletcher, Cooper Roth, and Todd Terry have been announced as the stars of the upcoming indie drama "American Spirit," written and directed by Christopher Yates. The film follows college student Melody (Fletcher) as she reconnects with her former high school boyfriend Jonathan (Roth) after a disastrous party. As they reflect on their past relationship and their own roles in its aftermath, the movie explores themes of identity and the transition to adulthood. Terry will portray Professor Bolton, one of Melody's professors caught in a troubled marriage. The production, produced by Sabrina Zahir and Christopher Yates, will begin filming in Austin next month.
