Zeller Announces New Chief Executive Officer Chris Baker
Bob Six has been with Zeller for over 23 years, serving as CEO for the past four years. His career in the commercial real estate (CRE) industry spans more than 40 years. During his tenure, Zeller's portfolio expanded from 3 million to over 10 million square feet nationally. Six has been instrumental in driving innovation, sustainability, and technology within the company. He has also been actively involved with organizations such as BOMA/Chicago and BOMA International, where he serves as Chairman. Bob will continue to serve as a Principal of Zeller and as an advisor to senior leadership.

Chris Baker, who joined Zeller in 2013, has held key positions including President of Zeller Realty Corporation and Director of Asset Management. His responsibilities have included financing, equity sourcing for acquisitions, overseeing asset management, and executing strategic business plans. Baker has also been involved in shaping the strategic direction of the Zeller portfolio and building relationships with debt and equity partners.

Before joining Zeller, Baker worked for Ares Management in their Senior Debt Originations Group and was an Associate Director in the Credit & Underwriting Group at Wrightwood Capital LLC. He also served four years in the United States Air Force’s Space Program. Baker holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa. He is a member of Chicago Real Estate Private Equity (CREPE) and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM).
