This marks the second occasion on which the credit union has received this recognition from the Department of the Army.

The announcement was made during the 60th Annual Conference of the Defense Credit Union Council held in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Board of Directors, Board Emeritus, and leadership teams at both senior and Benelux levels were honored at the event.

"Receiving this award highlights Andrews Federal's 75-year history of serving the military community," said Ken Orgeron, President and CEO of Andrews Federal Credit Union. "It is a reflection of the trust that our military members and leaders place in us to meet their financial needs effectively."

In its commitment to aiding the military community, Andrews Federal has created a suite of financial products tailored to the needs of service members. These offerings include military-focused checking accounts, cost-effective international money transfers, low-cost loan alternatives, and financial wellness programs. Furthermore, Andrews Federal sponsored events aimed at boosting morale, such as the Chièvres Air Fest, attended by over 10,000 members of the community.

Col. Lindsay Matthews, Commander of USAG Benelux, recommended Andrews Federal for the award. "Andrews Federal is a key partner at USAG Benelux, providing essential financial guidance for young service members and military families.
