Bank of America Names Lauren Murray President of Spokane/Boise Market

SPOKANE, Wash. and BOISE, Idaho, October 28, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – Bank of America has appointed Lauren Murray as the president of its Spokane/Boise market. According to a press release from the company, Murray will oversee the bank’s efforts to integrate services across its eight business lines while connecting clients, employees, and communities to the bank’s resources. She succeeds Kurt Walsdorf, who retired after 40 years of service.

Murray has 14 years of experience in financial services and joined Merrill Wealth Management, a division of Bank of America, in 2017. She has held leadership roles in California and Washington and continues to serve as the Market Executive for the Mountain West Market, leading a team of over 100 advisors and associates across Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

Murray is also involved in Bank of America’s Diversity & Inclusion efforts, serving as the Mountain Pacific Division ambassador for the Merrill Diversity & Inclusion Council. She is active in several employee networks, including the Women's Exchange and LGBTQ+ Pride. Murray was named a 2024 Rising Star by the Spokane Journal of Business.

Murray is actively involved in her community and serves on the board of the Women's & Children's Free Restaurant & Community Kitchen in Spokane. She resides in Liberty Lake, WA with her family.
