BeltLine Business Ventures Launched to Boost Local Businesses Along Atlanta BeltLine

ATLANTA, July 19, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - The Center by Lendistry, in collaboration with Atlanta BeltLine Inc. (ABI) and CVM Worldwide, has unveiled BeltLine Business Ventures, a new small business accelerator program aimed at fostering the growth of local enterprises, job creation, and wealth generation within communities along the Atlanta BeltLine. As the largest redevelopment initiative in the nation, the Atlanta BeltLine is transforming unused rail corridors into dynamic transit systems, green spaces, and mixed-use centers.

BeltLine Business Ventures, managed by The Center by Lendistry and spearheaded by CVM Worldwide, will consist of three cohorts, scheduled for Fall 2023, Winter/Spring 2024, and Summer/Fall 2024, accommodating up to 25 businesses each. Priority will be given to BIPOC-owned businesses already established in the BeltLine planning areas. Participants in each cohort will benefit from a three-month program featuring virtual and in-person learning sessions covering various business topics, tailored one-on-one advising, monthly networking opportunities, a culminating pitch competition, and connections to resources geared towards preparing businesses for brick-and-mortar opportunities within the Atlanta BeltLine vicinity.

Applications for the program will be accepted until August 18th. Business owners interested in applying are encouraged to register for an information session at https://beltline.org/businessventures.

"As a champion of equitable economic development, The Center is excited to partner with ABI to help ensure that this revitalization effort is inclusive for local businesses," expressed Tunua Thrash-Ntuk, President and CEO of The Center by Lendistry. "We know that with the right support and access to resources, small businesses thrive. We look forward to working with local entrepreneurs and preparing them for long-term success along the BeltLine."

Clyde Higgs, President and CEO of Atlanta BeltLine, Inc., stated, "The Atlanta BeltLine is a project for the people, and helping local, small businesses succeed is one of our top priorities. The goal of this office is to fill market gaps and meet community needs for business support, especially in underserved areas."

Candace Mitchell Harris, Executive Director of CVM Worldwide, added, "From growing my business over the past decade in Atlanta to helping over 1,500 minority-owned businesses grow, I'm honored to bring my experience and expertise to BeltLine Business Ventures. There is tremendous potential for economic transformation by bringing marketplace awareness to the BeltLine along with thriving businesses that help meet the needs of local neighborhoods."

To further strengthen the accelerator's success, The Center is seeking partnerships with small businesses, developers, commercial brokers, property managers, business associations, business development organizations, and other local entities interested in economic development and supporting small enterprises.
