Blue Bird Appoints Edward Hightower to Board of Directors

MACON, Ga., October 29, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Automotive manufacturing company, Blue Bird Corporation (Nasdaq: BLBD), has appointed Edward T. Hightower to its Board of Directors. Hightower, an entrepreneur and automotive executive, joins the board as a Class I Director, effective immediately.

Hightower brings over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry, including leadership roles at Ford, BMW, General Motors, and most recently as CEO of Lordstown Motors Corp., where he oversaw the launch of the company’s all-electric pickup truck, the Endurance.
