SAN DIEGO, August 11, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - After a three-year hiatus in the virtual realm, the Chief Learning Officer's flagship event, the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) Symposium, is set to return in person. Slated for Oct. 16-18 in San Diego, this year's Symposium bears the theme "All Eyes on the Future: Building a Culture of Lifelong Learning."

Crafted by the editors of Chief Learning Officer, the CLO Symposium aims to gather professionals from the learning and development and talent management sectors. Attendees can look forward to a packed three-day agenda, offering keynote addresses from distinguished learning leaders, a variety of workshops, certification courses, and networking sessions. The Symposium will delve into the strategies learning and development leaders employ to foster learning cultures, the obstacles they encounter, and the broader implications of their initiatives on career progress and business outcomes.

In the run-up to the main event, a pre-conference Accelerator will kick off on Oct. 14 and 15. This two-day immersive program promises an exploration of topical issues, underpinned by the latest CLO research and best practices.

Additionally, the LearningElite Gala is scheduled for Oct. 15, a celebratory evening dedicated to recognizing standout organizations in learning and development. This will be followed by the Learning in Practice Awards Ceremony on Oct. 16, which honors learning leaders for their exemplary efforts in designing and implementing employee development programs.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Ashley St. John, Editor-in-Chief and Chief Content Officer for CLO, stated, "For over 18 years, the Symposium has been a platform for stakeholders across the industry to come together, exchange insights, and pursue professional advancement. We are both eager and grateful to welcome an impressive lineup of speakers and to renew our connections within the community."
