LONDON, England, August 10, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Yolo Group, recognized for its innovations in gaming, fintech, and blockchain, has announced a significant partnership with Estonia's Solaride, aiming to fortify the realm of sustainable technology education and entrepreneurship.

This alliance intends to propel Solaride's objective to motivate an increased number of students to delve into technology studies while championing the cause of clean energy. Notably, as a visible mark of this collaboration, the Yolo Group's emblem will adorn the Solaride SolarCar. This vehicle is set to compete in the esteemed Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia, a rigorous 3,000-km race commencing on October 22.

Karl Tanel Paes, who oversees Finance and Partnerships at Solaride, shared, "With Yolo Group's backing, we are poised to bolster our advocacy for engineering and technology. Our participation in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge will help us march towards our objective." Paes emphasized that unveiling their solar car to the global audience is a pivotal moment, and with Yolo Group's assistance, they aspire to ignite inspiration in many.

Further enriching the collaboration, Mirjam Laurisaar, Yolo Group's Talent Acquisition Lead, is slated to participate in a leadership training day with Solaride this September. This initiative will encompass a series of recruitment-focused workshops.

Expressing his admiration for Solaride's accomplishments, Richard Barnwell, Yolo Group's Head of Partnerships, remarked, "Solaride's dedication to fostering environmentally-aware innovators of the future resonates with our ethos. We are eager to accompany them in this commendable expedition."

Originating in 2020 as a brainchild of two University of Tartu students, the Solaride project was conceived with a vision to craft the Baltics' inaugural solar car. Today, this venture has metamorphosed into a vast interdisciplinary education and collaboration initiative. It centralizes on talent development and amplifying the reach of tech education, with a community of over 300 students, mentors, trainers, and partners.
