HONG KONG, March 27, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - HOFA Gallery is set to make a significant return to Art Central Hong Kong, presenting 'Abstract Actuality' at Booth B11 from March 28 to 31, 2024. The exhibition will feature the works of eight internationally acclaimed artists, including Ilhwa Kim, Jan Kaláb, Mary Ronayne, Hannes Schauer, Alejandro Monge, Li Jie, Breakfast, and Sougwen Chung. These artists are celebrated for their unique approaches to exploring the intersections of reality through their art.

Elio D’Anna, co-founder of HOFA, expressed enthusiasm for the gallery's participation in the event, stating, “Art Central is renowned for pushing the boundaries of contemporary art since its inception and HOFA is proud to exhibit alongside Asia's most innovative galleries alongside distinguished artists from around the world.”

The 'Abstract Actuality' showcase aims to highlight the profound connections that emerge from the artists' explorations of mind, matter, and nature, challenging viewers to consider the relationship between the abstract and the actual.

Featured artist Ilhwa Kim is known for her mastery of patience and precision, creating works that invite viewers into a contemplative state. Jan Kaláb's multidisciplinary approach documents his experimentation with medium, motion, and variation, while Mary Ronayne captures the dynamic energy and movement of her subjects with fluid enamel.

Hannes Schauer's art offers a space for quiet contemplation, using highly diluted ink and acrylic paint to shape atmospheric turbulence. Alejandro Monge's sculptural portraits, influenced by Caravaggio and John Singer Sargent, push against traditional spatial boundaries with their hyperrealistic allure.

Li Jie's dedication to oil painting research is evident in his exploration of depth, layering, and structure. Breakfast's computer-driven kinetic art bridges distances with interactive experiences, and Sougwen Chung's work explores the intricate relationship between human and machine collaboration.

'Abstract Actuality' promises to be a captivating exhibition, inviting attendees to engage with contemporary art that blurs the lines between the tangible and the conceptual.
