LOS ANGELES, October 12, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Endurance athlete Kelsey Myers is poised to make history by aiming to complete 7 triathlons on 7 continents in a span of 7 days. Dubbed the Global Triathlon, Myers' unprecedented challenge is designed to highlight gender disparities within triathlon participation and promote greater female involvement in the sport.

Myers, with a history of significant achievements including completing a full Ironman, three half-Ironmans, and numerous sprint distance races, has embarked on this ambitious journey to raise awareness and inspire a new generation of female athletes.

Her week-long triathlon journey will take her across diverse locations including Malibu, California, USA; Puntarenas, Chile; Malaga, Spain; Muscat, Oman; Tangier, Morocco; Sydney, Australia; and the challenging environment of Antarctica.

Beyond her goal of setting a world record, Myers' endeavor serves a philanthropic purpose. She is raising funds and advocacy for ZGiRLS, a nonprofit organization established by elite female athletes. The mission of ZGiRLS is to provide middle school girls with the skills and tools they need to overcome challenges like self-doubt, boosting their confidence and self-worth in the process.

For those interested in following Myers' Global Triathlon journey and supporting the ZGiRLS initiative, detailed updates and opportunities to contribute are available at www.globaltriathlon.com.
