Law Firm Latham & Watkins Hires Former Federal Prosecutor Margaret Graham as Partner in White Collar Defense Practice

NEW YORK, November 5, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – Law firm Latham & Watkins has announced the hiring of former Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) Margaret Graham as a partner in its White Collar Defense & Investigations Practice. Graham, who served 11 years with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, brings prior experience in securities enforcement, money laundering, and investigative matters.

During her tenure with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, Graham held notable positions, including Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division. She supervised the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force, the Illicit Finance and Money Laundering Unit, and the Narcotics Unit, overseeing cases on securities fraud, market manipulation, cryptocurrency fraud, and Bank Secrecy Act violations. Additionally, as Co-Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Working Group, she coordinated AI-related initiatives and collaborated with law enforcement agencies on AI developments.
