OKLAHOMA CITY, September 14, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Madison Horn officially announced her candidacy today for the 5th Congressional District in Oklahoma, aiming to unseat the incumbent representative, Stephanie Bice. A 7th generation Oklahoman and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Horn grew up in Stilwell, Oklahoma, and has extensive experience in the cybersecurity field.

Madison Horn currently serves as CEO of an Oklahoma-based cybersecurity firm. Her professional background also includes leading global teams for Siemens Energy, where she specialized in defending critical national infrastructure and the energy sector from terrorist threats. Horn previously ran for the United States Senate in 2022, where she garnered nationwide attention for visiting all 77 counties in Oklahoma twice to engage with voters directly.

"Our country is in crisis and many Oklahomans are facing challenges that most politicians either don't know how to solve or don't care to," Horn said. "Congress is asleep at the wheel and completely lacks focus on the issues that matter — like keeping our country safe and lowering costs for working families."

According to Horn, the issues that resonate most with the electorate are those related to a rapidly changing workforce and economy, a broken immigration system, and the rising costs of living. "It's time voters are represented by someone with courage. Getting our country headed in the right direction will take bold leaders who actually listen to the concerns of Oklahomans and then have the courage to act," she stated.
