"I am honored to be entrusted as the Managing Partner of our firm and am thrilled to be given the responsibility of contributing to writing the next chapter in the success story of BearingPoint. It is a privilege for me to take over from Kiu. Hamidian, who served as Managing Partner since 2018, expressed his support for Loebich’s appointment. "Congratulations to Matthias Loebich! He is a globally well-respected senior leader with huge experience and knowledge across cultures inside and outside the firm, and I am confident that he will lead BearingPoint with the same dedication and vision that have been the hallmark of our success," he stated.
Under Hamidian’s leadership, BearingPoint’s revenues grew to exceed EUR 1 billion, and the firm’s workforce expanded to over 6,000 employees. His tenure saw the completion of 14 acquisitions, expansion into new markets, and the establishment of Arcwide as a joint venture. BearingPoint also successfully spun off two businesses—BearingPoint RegTech and BearingPoint Beyond—as independent companies. Following the transition, Hamidian will enter early retirement in 2025.
