RenaissanceRe Holdings Appoints Loretta J. Mester to Board of Directors

PEMBROKE, Bermuda, November 6, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: RNR), a reinsurance and insurance provider, has appointed Loretta J. Mester as an independent director on its Board of Directors, effective November 6, 2024. Concurrently, Brian G. J. Gray, who has served on the Board since 2013, has retired from his position.

Mester previously served as President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and held the role of executive vice president and director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Currently, she is an adjunct finance professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a board position with The Haverford Trust Company.
Mester's academic credentials include a B.A. in mathematics and economics from Barnard College of Columbia University, along with M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from Princeton University.
