MARSHFIELD, Wis., October 6, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - This October, in alignment with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dairy distributor Nelson-Jameson has unveiled a series of initiatives, leading with a notable donation. The company is contributing $5,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), intended to equip the foundation in extending much-needed support, resources, and optimism to women grappling with breast cancer.

“By partnering with NBCF, Nelson-Jameson is contributing to a cause that is important to both our customers and our employees,” relayed Amanda Nelson-Sasse, the fourth-generation owner of Nelson-Jameson.

In collaboration with CFS Brands, Nelson-Jameson is spotlighting a pink color-coded product range throughout October at its strategic distribution centers. Emphasizing the importance of color-coding in reinforcing food safety and minimizing cross-contamination, the company has also orchestrated a giveaway. Across October, participants stand a chance to win one of five CFS-donated, pink-coded gift baskets that are geared towards a color-coding cleaning regimen. Additionally, Nelson-Jameson Foundation’s matching gift program promises to match, up to $2,500 annually for each employee, any donations made to 501(c)(3) organizations, encompassing NBCF.

Expressing gratitude for the collaborative effort, Emily Millender, Manager of Strategic Partnerships at NBCF, noted, “NBCF is grateful to partner with the team at Nelson-Jameson in our mission of ‘Helping Women Now.’” She further emphasized the significance of such contributions in facilitating key services ranging from diagnostics to patient navigation.
