Renowned Hacker and Cybersecurity Icon Kevin Mitnick Dies at 59

TAMPA BAY, Fla. & LAS VEGAS, July 20, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - The Mitnick family and cybersecurity firm KnowBe4 have announced the death of Kevin Mitnick, aged 59, following a 14-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Known for his courage and resilience, Mitnick passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

Often referred to as the "world's most famous hacker," Mitnick left a lasting impression with his intelligence, sense of humor, and exceptional tech-savviness, only surpassed by his reputation as the original "social engineer." Most importantly, Kevin was a loving, loyal husband to his wife Kimberley, who stood by his side devotedly during his cancer battle. The couple is expecting their first child later this year.
