SolarEdge Announces Board of Directors Changes; Avery More Elected Chairman, Guy Gecht Appointed as Board Member

MILPITAS, Calif., November 6, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Smart energy technology company, SolarEdge Technologies, Inc., has announced the election of Avery More as Chairman of the Board of Directors, succeeding Nadav Zafrir, who will remain as a board member.
Alongside this change, SolarEdge’s Board appointed Guy Gecht as a new board member. Gecht, effective immediately, will serve on the Board’s Audit Committee and qualifies as a financial expert for the Audit Committee. He will also contribute to the Board’s Technology Committee.
Gecht brings over two decades of experience in leadership and technology innovation. He served as CEO of Electronics for Imaging from 2000 to 2018 and currently holds a board position at Logitech, where he chairs the Technology and Innovation Committee. In 2023, he served as Interim CEO of Logitech. Gecht’s previous board experience includes his time with Check Point Software Technologies, where he was Lead Independent Director from 2020 until earlier this year. Gecht replaces Tal Payne, who stepped down from the Board on November 5, 2024, after nearly ten years of service.
