AUSTIN, Texas, January 27, 2025 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Shipping technology company uShip has appointed Sean Wu as its Chief Executive Officer. According to a press release from the company, Wu has replaced Heather Hoover-Salomon, who departed the company in November.
Sean Wu has held leadership roles in finance and technology. Before joining uShip, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Hologram.io, an IoT connectivity company, where he worked on financial operations and market segment diversification. Wu also served as Head of Finance at Fullstory, a real-time insights and predictive analytics company, where the organization expanded its workforce from 30 to 700 employees and raised $150 million across three funding rounds.

“Sean brings to uShip his tremendous financial acumen and growth mindset at the ideal time for the company. He’s been at the heart of accelerated core customer growth and scaled recurring revenue through key customer relationships. We’re excited to see how Sean and the team take uShip to the next level,” said Jim Martell, Chairman of the Board at uShip.
Wu expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating, “I’m thrilled to be taking the helm at uShip. I am impressed with the foundation the entire uShip team has built over the last 21 years. That said, I took the job because I believe in marketplaces and see opportunities to scale customer segments and further grow revenue.”
