“My appointment as CEO comes at a pivotal moment: While the creator economy continues to grow due to influencer marketing being the most authentic form of connection between brands and consumers, it’s also complex and full of unsolved challenges. My new role enables me to drive innovation in a space that needs it — not only through technology but through insights, education, community and strategic partnerships — and to help shape the future of an industry I believe in. I’m excited for the opportunity,” said Debenham.
Brandon Brown, who has led GRIN as CEO for over a decade, commented on Debenham’s transition: “Ryan possesses a rare combination of deep technical expertise, strong leadership and a people-first mindset — all of which makes him a leader who can accelerate innovation while building an incredible culture. As I transition to my new role as GRIN’s chairman of the board, I look forward to the fresh infusion of energy and enthusiasm Ryan will bring as CEO to take GRIN to the next level.”
Before joining GRIN, Debenham served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Route, where he helped drive revenue to $100 million in four years. He also led AI and data analytics at Qualtrics, contributing to its $8 billion acquisition by SAP. Debenham first joined GRIN as CTO, where his contributions have helped him rise to president and now CEO.
