Cheba Hut Expands to Katy, Texas, Bringing 'Toasted' Subs and Unique Atmosphere

KATY, Texas, October 31, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Cheba Hut owners Raj and Ashley Gandhi are set to open their second Texas location in Katy this November. The couple already owns a successful Cheba Hut location in Houston, launched in April 2022, which they say has been warmly received by the community.
“We can’t wait to spread good vibes to the community and really ‘wow’ a whole new set of customers who’ve likely never heard of or tried Cheba Hut before," said the couple. "The way the community and city as a whole have welcomed us has been incredible, and it’s so gratifying to see the shop flourish.”
The upcoming Katy location will feature a range of subs, snacks, and beverages, targeting a diverse customer base. In addition to a variety of subs, the venue will offer pretzel nugs, Krispy treats, signature cocktails, and local brews, aiming to cater to customers 21 and older.
A unique aspect of each Cheba Hut location is the individualized art that adorns its walls. “We are so excited to work again with our favorite local artist, Gelson Lemus, and watch him bring his ideas to life with a dope new mural,” said Ashley Gandhi. Lemus has previously worked with Cheba Hut, integrating his art style with the brand's unique vibe.
Raj and Ashley Gandhi emphasized the importance of adhering to Cheba Hut's Core Values: The Hustle, Show Respect, Own It, Pay It Forward, Keep It Real. “Being brand new to the [Katy] area, we want to focus on keeping it real and showing people what we are all about.
