NEW YORK, June 7, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - anitya, a white-label Platform as a Service (PaaS) specializing in customizable spatial computing applications, has announced a $2 million investment led by Indicator Capital, a Brazilian venture capital firm.

“We are thrilled to partner with Indicator Capital as we redefine the landscape of spatial computing. This investment validates our vision and elevates us towards our goal of becoming the most powerful and accessible solution in the market,” said Pedro Jardim, Founder and CEO of anitya.

anitya aims to offer a comprehensive and user-friendly platform for building spatial computing applications at a cost-effective price point. The company provides low-code solutions that do not require high-end hardware, thus expanding accessibility to a broader range of professionals who can develop immersive experiences.

Pedro Jardim highlighted, “With low-code solutions that don't require hardware with high image processing capacity, we are opening the door for many other professionals to develop immersive experiences.”

The company has made significant advancements towards its goal, including:

  • Successful Beta Launch: anitya has completed a successful beta launch of its minimum viable product (MVP), receiving positive feedback from 3D designers and creators.

  • Unique Value Proposition: The platform is significantly lighter and simpler to use than industry standards, making it 10 times lighter than Unity and 100 times lighter than Unreal. It also features a user interface that is 10 times faster to master, supporting both no-code and low-code development.

  • Growing Interest: The platform has already attracted substantial interest, with over 500 sign-ups in four weeks and an average of 120 new sign-ups weekly.

According to the company, anitya plans to commercially launch its PaaS product in July, utilizing technology forked from the Godot Engine, a popular open-source platform for game development. The company’s waiting list includes agencies, architects, and media professionals keen on using its capabilities.

Pedro Jardim further commented, “Imagine designing a gamified learning experience or any spatial computing application as easily as building a website on Wix or Webflow. anitya is as collaborative as Figma and as versatile as Zapier, lowering barriers and unlocking new possibilities.”

The platform’s innovative approach has attracted the attention of Ariel Manzur, a co-founder of the Godot Engine. Manzur has joined anitya as a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

anitya’s low-code platform facilitates a faster and more accessible development process, allowing users to build immersive experiences without the need for developers. “The current cost for building an immersive experience project is very high, often taking months to complete. anitya offers a lightweight and accessible solution, democratizing immersive experiences,” said Pedro Jardim.

The platform is designed to be a versatile solution applicable across various sectors, including professional training, healthcare, industry, retail, agriculture, and smart cities.
