Mercedes-Benz Appoints Jason Hoff as CEO of North America

STUTTGART, Germany, March 11, 2025 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Mercedes-Benz has announced the appointment of Jason Hoff as Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz North America, a newly created position that will oversee the company’s strategic direction in the region. Hoff will adssume the role on May 1, 2025, and will report directly to the Mercedes-Benz Group AG Board of Management.

According to the company, the creation of the North America CEO position is intended to strengthen Mercedes-Benz’s engagement with U.S. customers and its overall presence in the American market. The company sold 324,500 passenger cars and 49,600 vans in the United States in 2024, making the U.S. its second-largest global market.

Hoff, a native of Oregon, has worked at Mercedes-Benz since 1993. He started in Stuttgart before joining the Mercedes-Benz U.S. International (MBUSI) team for the launch of the M-Class in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He has held various senior and executive roles, including overseeing SUV production in Alabama, leading the interior purchasing group in Germany, and serving as CEO of MBUSI. Most recently, he was the Global Head of Quality for Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans.

Mercedes-Benz has operated in the United States since 1888 and has invested over $10 billion into its U.S. production, infrastructure, research and development, and dealer network. The company’s Tuscaloosa, Alabama, plant has produced more than 4.5 million vehicles over the past 28 years, with around 60% of annual production being exported.
