FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., February 7, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Law firm Kelley | Uustal has announced the appointment of Ricky Armand as a partner and trial attorney within its National Tobacco Team. Armand's legal career has spanned various areas, including auto and trucking crash litigation, wrongful death, premises liability, and tobacco litigation.

Before his new role at Kelley | Uustal, Armand was instrumental in the pre-litigation department at the Willie Gary Firm, where he achieved settlements totaling nearly $20 million for his clients over eight years. "Having Ricky join our ranks, especially after the phenomenal year we had in 2023, is just icing on the cake. I could not be prouder," stated John Uustal, founding partner of Kelley | Uustal.

Armand, reflecting on his new position, expressed, "I am looking forward to this outstanding opportunity. I take great pride in assisting individuals facing hardships and being a voice for the voiceless." The son of Haitian immigrants and a native of St. Lucie County, Florida, Armand holds a Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Central Florida.

In addition to his legal accomplishments, Armand is actively involved in the community, serving on the board of the Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce on the Treasure Coast and as a member of the Haitian Lawyers Association.
