NEW YORK, December 19, 2023 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Arcanna.ai, a company specializing in decision intelligence for cybersecurity, has secured a $3.5 million seed investment. The funding round was led by Lytical Ventures and included participation from Osage Venture Partners, Defined, Isometric Ventures, and John Stewart. This capital injection aims to expand Arcanna.ai's platform, focusing on autonomous decision-making within the cybersecurity field.

Lucas Nelson, a partner at Lytical Ventures, shared his perspective on the investment, stating, "Arcanna.ai's innovative approach and commitment to reshaping human-AI cooperation in security align perfectly with our investment philosophy."

The investment addresses the challenges faced by cybersecurity professionals, such as handling a growing number of cyber threats, data overload, alert fatigue, false positives, team exhaustion, and high turnover rates. These issues are compounded by the industry's skill shortage, increasing the risk of security breaches.

Nate Lentz, Managing Partner of Osage Venture Partners, acknowledged Arcanna.ai's role in the industry: "Arcanna.ai's demonstrated leadership and strategic use of advanced technologies position them as pioneers in the field. We believe Arcanna is solving mission-critical business problems by applying AI to augment and automate human decision-making in security and network operations."

Arcanna.ai's platform is designed to enhance human decision-making in Security Operations Centers (SOC) and Network Operation Centers (NOC), leveraging AI to process consistent data points and incorporate human feedback into AI models. The company aims to reduce the mean time to response (MTTR), decrease risk, and increase capacity to manage higher attack volumes.

John Stewart, former Cisco Chief Security and Trust Officer, Investor, and Board Member of Arcanna.ai, emphasized the necessity of AI in cybersecurity: "We cannot hire our way out of the cyber situation we all face. What we can do, and Arcanna will do, is create a force multiplier, using technology to help security productivity, through AI."

Arcanna.ai, established in 2019 in New York, was founded by professionals experienced in security and AI. The board of directors will include Peter Ruta, Lucas Nelson, and John Stewart.

Peter Ruta, CEO and founder of Arcanna.ai, commented on the funding's significance: "This investment represents a significant vote of confidence in Arcanna.ai's vision and underscores the growing importance of Decision Intelligence in fortifying cyber defenses."
