Phippen assumed the role on March 17, 2025, following a national search conducted by the company’s Board of Directors.

Phippen brings more than two decades of experience in leadership roles across research, data, and consulting. He most recently served as CEO of Water Tower Research, where he led operational improvements and revenue growth. His previous roles include leadership positions at Coalition Greenwich, S&P, and Goldman Sachs, where he focused on strategy, corporate development, and data-driven decision-making.

Phippen succeeds Tim Young, who had served as Interim CEO since May 2024. Young will remain with the company as Chief Technology Officer and continue overseeing product and client solutions.
