Christopher Haight Appointed as General Manager of Coffman Engineers' Orange County Office
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., February 15, 2024 (VSNewsNetwork.com) - Coffman Engineers, Inc. has announced the promotion of Christopher Haight, PE, SE, to the position of General Manager for its Orange County office, located in Newport Beach, California. Haight, who has been with Coffman since 2017 following the integration of Hope-Amundson, Inc., has played a crucial role in the expansion and diversification of the office's engineering services.
According to the company, since assuming the role of Operations Manager, Haight has successfully grown the office from a team of four structural engineers to a multidisciplinary team of 17 engineering professionals and support staff. With over 27 years of experience in structural engineering, Haight has managed a wide range of projects throughout California. In his new role as Managing Principal, he aims to further expand the team, particularly within the structural, mechanical, and fire protection engineering disciplines, while also exploring new areas of service.
The appointment is part of Coffman Engineers' strategic efforts to strengthen its presence in Southern California and to develop leadership within the company to support ongoing and future expansions. Haight will be responsible for managing daily operations, maintaining high levels of service responsiveness, and implementing strategic business initiatives in the Orange County area.
