Chacko, who has been with Lenstec since 2003, will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, developing growth strategies, and ensuring efficient resource allocation across the company.

Chacko's career at Lenstec began as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, and he was promoted to Vice President of Regulatory Affairs in 2005. According to the company, his work in global regulatory and clinical affairs has been instrumental in the company's success. In his new role, Chacko will focus on expanding sales of Lenstec's flagship product, the ClearView 3 IOL, which is designed to provide superior visual outcomes with minimal glare and halos. He will also lead efforts to increase awareness of Lenstec's products among surgeons globally and support clinical teams in achieving successful patient outcomes.

Chacko holds a Master of Science in Ophthalmic Science from Aston University and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida.

In addition to his role at Lenstec, Chacko serves on several ISO/ANSI standards committees and is actively involved in professional organizations such as the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society, the American National Standards Institute, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
